ग़म बरगद का घना दरख़्त
ख़ुशियाँ नन्हे नन्हे फूल

अब दिल को समझाए कौन
बात अगरचे है माक़ूल

आँसू ख़ुश्क हुए जब से
आँगन में उड़ती है धूल
